Director of Sponsorship Sales

Back9Promotions, a premier full-service event marketing team, is seeking experienced event marketing and sponsorship sales professional to secure partnerships for A-List, high-profile entertainment properties and major brands.  Qualified candidates must have solid relationships with brand decision makers and possess a proven track record of developing and closing deals in a high paced sales environment.

• Research and identify industries and organizations to solicit for sponsorship of targeted events

• Strategize, develop and create sponsorship and marketing presentations

• Create financial analysis of sponsorship deals detailing gross sponsorship fee, activation costs and net sponsorship

• Secure and conduct face-to-face sales meetings and presentations by leveraging personal rolodex, as well as through cold calling

• Maintain detailed CRM of all relevant sponsor communications

• Pitch, negotiate and close sponsorship deals and work with legal counsel through contract execution

• Supervise account management team to ensure the proper delivery of all promised benefits

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with top brand decision makers and their respective advertising agencies

• Oversee industry and competitive analysis to highlight underlying category trends and competitive dynamics
